    MYSPACE
I finally got hooked into MySpace -- the profile is pretty weak at the moment, but I am discovering loads of things -- for example, tons of your favourite authors are on MySpace (in case you didn't know)! All these and more -- make sure to take a look for them!

    John Green (Looking for Alaska)
Lauren Myracle (TTYL, TTFN, Rhymes with Witches)
Melissa de la Cruz (The Au Pairs, Skinny-Dipping, Fresh off the Boat)
    Andrew Auseon (Funny Little Monkey)
Frank Portman aka Dr. Frank (King Dork)
Cecil Castellucci (The Queen of Cool, Boy Proof)
Brent Hartinger (Geography Club, The Order of the Poison Oak)
David Levithan (Boy Meets Boy, The Realm of Possibility)
Rachel Cohn (Gingerbread, Shrimp, Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist)
    David Yoo (Girls for Breakfast)
Niki Burnham (Royally Jacked, Spin Control)
Jordan Sonnenblick (Drums, Girls & Dangerous Pie)
KL Going (Fat Kid Rules the World)
Micol Ostow (30 Guys in 30 Days)
Dana Reinhardt (A Brief Chapter in My Impossible Life)
    Meg Cabot (Princess Diaries series)
    Sarah Mlynowski (Bras & Broomsticks)

(Remember to play it safe when you're online -- don't reveal information about yourself that you don't want everyone to know or that might compromise your safety -- the internet is a VERY public place!)

    NEW DISPLAYS
I have a couple of new displays out -- one is "short reads for short study breaks" -- books of short stories; the other is "authors online" -- books by authors who have their own websites or myspaces (like those listed above).

    SUMMER READING PRIZES
This is the final week to turn in reading logs to win prizes -- I'll draw the winners next week, so be sure to get them in!

    Comments:
I find it ironic that I'm reading this on Sunday the 3rd with a desire to drive someplace. Well, the library was closed yesterday too, I guess that makes me feel better somehow...
