    WEBSITES
Wanted to mention a few websites to you. Read any Neil Gaiman - Sandman, Coraline, etc? He's got an interesting site at http://www.neilgaiman.com. Also, Jean Craighead George (Julie of the Wolves, etc) has a personal site: http://www.jeancraigheadgoerge.com; and Nikki Grimes, who won the Coretta Scott King Award this year has a Poetry Zone: http://www.nikkigrimes.com.
Are you, by any chance, into Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter? Try his site at http://www.crocodilehunter.com. Or, if you are more into primates, try Jane Goodall's site http://www.janegoodall.org/jane/day.html.
I know you already know there are tons of cool things on the web - maybe today I can help you discover some more! Enjoy!

Harry Potter V is coming along smashingly (and I really mean smashingly). It's reminding me a little bit of World War II (see 940.53 & 940.54), as Umbridge and Fudge attempt to become dictators of Hogwarts. Scary!
I'll finish it this week. Meanwhile, I still need to read the book for the discussion on Saturday - it's not too late to pick up a copy of the book at the desk at the library! And I just checked out another - Birdland by Tracy Mack. Sounds very interesting. I'll let you know how it goes.
