    MID-VACATION WEEK
I realize it's been a few days since I've written, and I'm not sure I have a lot to say this drizzly morning, but here I am anyway. I just received four brand-new shiny books: Now You See Her, Anything But Ordinary, Tamar: A Novel of Espionage, Passion, and Betrayal, and Blood Confession.

Tomorrow we'll be having a showing of the traveling pants movie -- it's free at the library at 2.30 for all teens! Get out of the rain and join us. In the meantime, swing by and pick up some of the great books we have on hand -- a good comic book may be exactly what you need to make it through this raw week.

Recommended "heavier" books for this week:
When a friend dies : a book for teens about grieving & healing
The grieving teen : a guide for teenagers and their friends
    School shootings
