    EARTH DAY
So tomorrow (Sunday) is Earth Day -- one whole day focused on preserving the earth -- what can you do tomorrow? Here are a few simple and practical things you can do on Earth Day to make a little difference -- and a little difference goes a long way when millions of us participate!

    *Carpool if you're driving anywhere
*Take public transportation if you can
    *Skip your shower
*Don't leave the water running while brushing your teeth or shaving
*Switch over your lightbulbs to CFLs
    *Leave the computer off
    *Unplug your gadget chargers
*Go to bed when the sun goes down
*Recycle (or reuse) your plastics, glass, aluminum, and cardboard
*Run the dishwasher, but dry the dishes by hand
*Eat sandwiches and cold cereal instead of heating things up
*Take your own bags to the store
*Play board/card games instead of watching TV or movies
*Plant a tree or a bush

Lots of simple things you can do tomorrow -- what else can you come up with?
(Here are some local Earth Day events.)
