WHAT IS OLD IS NEW AGAIN
There are so many things to post about today, and I hesitate to be too wordy. Nevertheless, for those of you who are writers, you should be told (or reminded) about NaNoWriMo -- National Novel Writing Month and it's ensuing writing contest. If anyone is brave enough to do it, let me know, so I can link up to your profile on the site and we can keep track of your progress! I'm even thinking about it myself.
Also, if you're still looking for costume ideas, try these simple suggestions:
With a black trash bag: raisin, glob of tar, burned marshmallow, piece of coal, tire skid mark
With a white trash bag: marshmallow, dandelion fluff, bubble, spilled milk
With paper or dry leaves: autumn tree
With leaves and messy hair and other stuff: someone caught in a tornado
With clothes from another closet, you can be: your mom, your dad, your friend, your brother, your sister, your own evil twin
So many ideas, so few needed props! (And this is merely a sampling -- there's so much more!)
And don't forget the books on display at the library!
