    BATMAN
I'm not going to officially "Bookend" it, but Batman: The Long Halloween by Loeb & Sale is a masterpiece of work. On Halloween night series of killings begins -- all taking place on holidays and all related to the mob families in Gotham. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Valentine's, and so on, various villains try to stake their claim on the crimes and are duly considered and reconsidered, but there are too many secrets being held by too many people and it's hard to see clearly from behind a mask.... This is fabulous -- and Sale's illustrations -- wow. Be sure to pick it up.
Meanwhile, been ordering and ordering. Just put in an order for some DVDs and now I'm working on more books. But now it's time for lunch, so... ta ta!
